I bought one of these last year and after three gigs the sleeve that holds the boom to the stand broke, making it pretty much useless. I mended it using some fine wire and CA glue, but then a couple of gigs later the wingnut for clamping the boom in place broke. I can mend it too, using the same material, but seriously, the quality of the material is horrible pot metal. I would give Quality a 0 if this form would let me.

Purchased: Summer 2023. This is a good stand for infrequent use and with light mics. I connected a Shure SM7B and the weight has been a challenge as the boom sags. It's better when I keep the boom length very short, but that thumb screw has now stopped working. I thought I'd save some money as Yorkville's robust model was more. It would have been a better choice.

I just bought it on special. Does was its supposed to do. Great for the stage and light studio use......good value i think.
